Hot tapping and Cold cutting of Existing Pipelines

SHIVAM is the undisputed leader in this field. As such, we are the preferred contractor for Power hot tapping projects.
Our expertise allows our customers to add branch connections to existing pipelines without leakage and interruption to the flow. Shivam is able to perform line stopping and diversion of
all kinds of pipelines at the highest quality within the shortest time possible, without
compromising on safety.
Our service package also includes cold cutting of the existing pipeline for connection of the branch line.

Cold Bending of Pipes
Cold bending of pipes is another of Shivam’s strengths. Our bending machine is able to bend steel pipes of up to 610mm in diameter to fit any environment or design. This allows us to successfully negotiate any obstacles during construction and ensures high productivity.

Achievements

Some of Shivam’s recent achievements:
2008
• Successfully completed the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and
commissioning of 600 mm, 1000mm, 1400mm and 1700mm water pipeline.
2007
• Successfully completed the design, construction, testing and commissioning of 900mm and
500mm water pipeline.
2006
• Successfully completed the construction, testing and commissioning of 1000mm, 700m and
500mm water pipeline.
• Successfully completed

Recent projects:

This prestigious project runs a pipeline through the busiest parts of Ghaziabad’s business and shopping hub. The two biggest challenges posed by this project are:
1) 630mm Polyethylene pipes.
2) Laying of water pipes. Work in the Canal is dependent on tide timings. Moreover, several kilometres of the Canal are covered in total darkness.
